When I recently went to best buy, I was shocked to find an eee pc netbook loaded it in 40. I would like to have any of the first listed devices to be on/around par with my 3-year-old desktop, and I would like for them to be under $500 but I can push my budget to $600 (less is always more though). On a tablet, for instance, if an app is coming out for something like hulu or a comparable site (I am using hulu as an example because it took the longest to load on the netbooks I tried out) that time can be used as well... I will just be using for the most part google chrome, microsoft office programs (or google docs or polaris) and just general activity. male cats are very territorial. If you put food out for them, they are going to fight for it, no matter if there is plenty for all. we get strays around our house alot, and we use a live animal trap to catch them. most of ours are female, so we take them and get them fixed then let them go. But for a male you can take him to a shelter or let him loose somewhere far from your house. I know alot of people say if you do that then it wont survive but cats are natural hunters and do not rely on humans to feed them. You may be able to find a live trap at walmart, not sure. good luck!

I have a planetarium quiz where we walk into a planetarium and we have to give the azimuth and altitude angles of certain constellations/asterisms/stars etc. I have no problem determining azimuth and altitude angles, but I can only find polaris/the big dipper I really need to memorize the night sky in a virtual planetarium program. I just transferred photoshop onto my new laptop from a memory stick and now I'm trying it out. I went to the 1001freefonts.com website to get some additional cool looking fonts and I'm having trouble downloading fonts. It gives me a symbol. When I open the file, it just says done at the left top corner and print on the right. Is there something I need to do to allow access to these fonts? I then have phone and internet,electric, and liability insurance to pay each month. This all runs me about $200 more. Since May 2oth I have only made about $400 for that month. My rent is due July 1st and i really can't justify paying it and really can't afford to. I am located on a side street and as i said live in a small town and people just don't come in. I have $65,000 in savings but I am am married to a man 11 yrs older than me who plans on retiring in about another 1 1/2 yrs and when he does I will have no insurance and he will draw a lot less than he is making now. That is why I wanted to do this business because this is all i really know how to do and thee are no jobs where i live besides fast food or plants that pay miinimum wage and i have some health isues that would cause me not to be able to do these types of jobs. I am working with what I have, I rinsed with cold water, made a baking soda paste to scrub it with. And a second paste to let it soaked in for like 30 min. I've heard that you can use vinegar in combo with the baking soda. I only have apple vinegar, will it work the same? I am very upset that some idiot put a pate of hot dogs with ketchup and mustard in my chair a few seconds before I sat down. I always look before I sit to avoid things like this! My shorts are made out of a spandex/nylon type material, the ketchup came right out after the scrub. But the mustard lingered. Pie crust question for custard pies?

If you bake the crust separately, then how does the custard bake? Made custard and coconut custard pies all my life, for business and family....the custard is always baked in the crust. Just start testing the cake about 15 minutes after you start baking the cake. Insert a tooth pick in the center of cake and when it comes out clean, the cake is done. 20 minutes is not that long to bake a cake.

yh i had the same issue for ages, what you need to do is connect to your router by typing in its ip adress into your internet browser. Then go into upnp and nat settings and simply switch it. Question about setting up a sundial.?

I've been reading online on how to set up a sundial. Although I've learned a lot, one question wasn't addressed. Everyone says that the sundial's gnomon should be pointed north. They also agree that most sundials, since they are mass produced, are designed to work mainly at one line of latitude (basiclly, a generic setting). My question: would positioning the flat, top edge of the gnomon to the north, would it be more accurate to point it directly at Polaris, regardless of the latitude you are at? I am thinking that it would be the "poor-mans" way of doing adjustments to the latitude you are at, without modifying the dial itself. Please correct me if I am wrong.

My 2003 Polaris sportsman 500 is overheating?

It only overheats when its warm out. I use it in the fall for hunting and in the winter for plowing and i have never had a problem. In the summer months, it overheats. The radiator is clean, there is no air in the coolant system, replaced the fan relay switch and tried a new radiator cap. Repair shop said maybe a head gasket, but wouldnt it overheat anytime then, not just during the summer. Suggestions?

I have a Polaris Wave Runner with a cracked hull. Dealers say they wont even try to fix it. Can I?

I have a Polaris Voltage wave runner. It's got about 350 hours on it. It still runs alright but the hull has a crack in it, small crack but if the wave runner isn't running it would fill up in about 40 minutes or more. So you can still ride it but the dealer refused to even try to fix it and I'm wondering if anyone out there may know of a way I can fix it myself with some sort of hull glue or patch, something. Just need an opinion about my jet ski?

i have a 2001 polaris virage 701 3 seater jet ski. the hull is in excellent condition, nothing is wrong with it. it was ran in salt water but i recentley rebeuilt the engine putting in all new gaskets, new starter and solenoid and flushed the engine out. it started right up and ran with no problem, it has a little over 500 hours on it. I bought it for 1300 cash. Why wont my 87 polaris trailboss start once its hot?

its kinda hard to start cold as well. but once i get it running it runs mint. after riding, when i bring it down to an idle, it chokes out or something and dies. after this, i cant get it started again. i tried giving it gas, still nothing. but. i decided to try and close of the fuel. once i did, i gave it 2 pulls and it ran and idled for a few seconds off the fuel in the carburetor. i recently adjusted the float level. it seems as if its running rich. what i want to know is if its a jet adjustment, or the float adjustment? i tried playing with the air jet. that didnt do a thing. the engine also ran slower than normal at full throttle. almost with a bogging noise do it. any ideas at all would be great.

Tonight, I am making dinner for my family, and I have decided on steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes and Montreal Chicken. I use the spice "Montreal chicken" I start by putting aluminum foil on a baking sheet, and of course washing the chicken. Preheating to 350, I put the chicken on the baking sheet, and sprinkle the 'Montreal chicken" on it and the pour some Italian dressing on top. Super easy, my only problem is everything around the chicken burns! The chicken doesn't, in fact it turns out amazing! I just don't want the extra stuff on the foil to burn. How do I keep that from happening???

Bake sales are tough. I wouldn't charge over a dollar for the cookies and brownies. Only because it's not a store bought brownie or cookie so people aren't compelled to buy them as much. Not sure why but that's just how it goes. I would charge at least $0.50 for the lemonade because as I can imagine it's not a fully filled big cup. If it is then, be my guest and charge $1! For the fruit salad I would say charge $3-4.50 for it.

So I'm on a diet and I'm trying to decide what to eat for dinner. I guess I'm just more trying to eat healthy and watch portion size then be on an actual diet. I normally eat 1,500 calories a day and I try to burn off 500 every day which should result in a 1 pound weight loss every week. For breakfast today I had a smoothie that I made myself with 1 banana and 1 cup of vanilla soy milk accompanied by a tray of ice which was about 200 calories and for lunch I had a peanut butter sandwhich on wheat bread with an ear of sweet corn and a cup of apple sauce. That all adds up to around 710 calories so if I want to stick with eating around 1,500 then I guess i have a lot of calories for dinner tonight. I was thinking I piece of grilled chicken which is about 120 calories an ear of corn which is about 80 calories and a plain baked potatoe which I've heard a hundred things about that they have 160 calories and that they have 300 calories and that they are healthy and that they are horrible so I don't know if I should eat it or not.

Then and half a cup of milk in 1 cup of shredded cheddar to the mix. melt 1 quarter stick of butter into a casserole dish timminco the bottom with bread crumbs. 2006 Polaris 800 Sportsman false HOT reading?

My 2006 Polaris 800 Sportsman has been "overheating" lately. I thought it was just leaking anti-freeze so i poured some in, gave it the gas, poured some more in and by the time i was all done i had poured about 18 ounces of anti-freeze in. I thought that did the trick. Im going up north tomorow and im taking my 800, so i ran it again pretty hard today to see if would overheat and it did, in only about 20 minutes. I let it sit for about two minutes and i was able to take the radiator cap off, so is this just a false reading, because i know for a fact that i would not be able to take that cap off with only waiting for 2 minutes.

Polaris 90 wont achieve top speed?

My polaris 90 year 2003 will not achieve the pretty 30-35 MPH it usually tops out at. In fact the engine sounds choked and runs at 10. I took off the filter cover (fuel filter it appears) and it was dirty with mud and stuff all around. I didnt please parents asking for help, always busy with something else. Can I buy a kit I am looking at on ebay right now (look in links) to replace the dirty filter and have her running like new again, or may there be another prolbem?
